AFTERCARE GUIDE

At Creative Wraps & Graphics, LLC, we always use the highest quality materials to ensure that your new wrap/graphics will hold up well over time. It is important to note that, although we have used the highest quality materials on your project, it is still up to you to take proper care of your wrap in order for it to last and continue to look beautiful for years to come. Please read and carefully follow the aftercare instructions listed below.

Wash Regularly
• Do not let your wrapped vehicle stay dirty! It is your investment so wash it as soon as dirt appears. Contaminants allowed to remain on the vinyl may be more difficult to remove during cleaning and in certain instances can damage your vinyl.
• Hand washing is the preferred cleaning method as it will keep your vinyl looking beautiful and new longer and will prolong the life of your wrap. We recommend the old-fashioned bucket and dish soap method of washing using a soft, clean cloth or sponge. DO NOT USE rough scrubbing or abrasive tools as these will scratch the film. You can use a nice quick detail spray on gloss finishes, but if you have opted for the matte or satin finish films, stick to soap and water as wax will leave your matte and satin finished car looking oil spotted. After washing, rinse thoroughly with clean water. To reduce water spotting, immediately use a a clean microfiber cloth to dry.
• If your vehicle has been exposed to a more difficult contaminate such as bug splatter, bird droppings, tree sap, fuel spills, etc. make sure to remove and clean as soon as possible. These contaminants can actually stain your finish or degrade the vinyl. If you see that your wrap has been exposed, soak the contaminate with very hot, soapy water for several minutes and if a spot still remains, try some good old 70% Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) and treat the affected area. Dish soap and/ or IPA is also good for removing those pesky little fingerprints you keep leaving on your door handles and edge of the door.
• Do not use automated car washes, truck washes using caustic cleaners or pressure washers to clean your vehicle. Use of automated car wash, truck wash or pressure washers will void the warranty.

Other Care Tips/Pointers
• Store indoors or under cover whenever possible. Vinyl graphics (just like paint) are degraded by prolonged exposure to sun and atmospheric pollutants, particularly on the horizontal surfaces such as hood, trunk lid and roof. Whenever possible, store in a garage or at least in a shaded area during the day. At night protect the car from dew or rain, which may contain acidic pollutants (a common problem in many large metropolitan areas). When a garage is not available, consider using a cloth car cover at night. If your graphics start to discolor or turn brown, immediately remove the graphics from the vehicle to avoid staining the underlying paint
• Some small bubbles may appear within the first week or so post-wrap. This is normal as long as they are small. Simply take your thumb, place it dead center in the bubble and pivot your thumb in a circular motion. The air should dissipate. If you encounter a bubble and are not sure if you should be concerned or not, please call us (281) 231-2817.
• If you see an area lifting or peeling do not panic. Call us and we will guide you with the best course of action to take. Do not postpone calling us because the quicker we can address any issues, the better chance we have of minimizing failures.
• The following recommendations will help keep your vehicle wraps looking their best.
• Do not use any abrasive polishes or cutting compounds.
• Do not use any polishing or wax products on matte or textured films.
• If there is wax or waxy residue on the surface, remove with an all-purpose cleaner.
